ABOUT ME

Your local guide, friend and host

A true Canary Islander, I was born in La Palma, grew up in Tenerife and at the age of 14 I arrived in Fuerteventura, the island that would forever determine my destiny. I was lucky enough to study, travel and live all over the world for 5 years (USA, UK, Colombia, Jamaica, among many other countries) working mainly in the international trade and tourism sector. In fact, for 2 years I was the Representative of the Fuerteventura Tourist Board at the Spanish Tourism Office in London. However, I always knew that I would end up returning to my homeland, to my paradise called Fuerteventura.

Hiking with a volcanic soul

Passionate about hiking, nature, volcanology, culture and the history of my ancestors, my dream was to be able to show all the heritage that Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands possess. This is how Vulcano Trekking was born.

Vision

To become the leading company in ecotourism and hiking experiences on Fuerteventura.

Mission

To show the wonders and secrets that Fuerteventura holds through the eyes and company of a local guide and expert, in harmony and with respect for the environment, the local community and its culture.
